Edgewater Hotel

The bed was so comfortable, and I had an amazing two-night stay. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were great. Parking is limited, but I never had trouble finding a spot. On my first night I was lucky enough to see incredibly vivid Northern Lights. Shops, restaurants, and the river walking path are all nearby. The location is the big draw, and honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough.

The front desk lady was really sweet and helpful, and the room itself was clean and great. It’s in a great spot, walking distance from lots of restaurants. Parking was the problem: there are only a few spaces out back, and if those are full you have to park on the street and move your car before 9 a.m. to avoid a ticket. The other issue was the noise early Saturday morning. Before 8 a.m., staff kept slamming doors and making noise on the second floor right by our door. A little more courtesy would have helped. Aside from that, it was a nice stay.

I spent seven nights here at the end of October 2025. The hotel was modern, very clean, and well located, and the staff welcomed me warmly. They arranged transfers to and from the airport and were professional and attentive to what guests needed. They were also patient and understanding about my difficulties with English. A very positive stay, and I’d recommend it as a four-star hotel.

The bathroom looked stylish and the hotel had been updated and was clean, but the beds were both small and uncomfortable. The walls were so thin that we could clearly hear all the “activities” in the neighboring rooms. The deposit handling also annoyed me: instead of refunding $100, they charged me for the room again and refunded the earlier charge. That will take 3-4 days to clear, leaving me carrying the debt for that time. I was highly annoyed.
