We were actually asleep when staff came knocking at 5am to complain about the TV, which was at a normal volume. They told us we couldn’t talk or laugh in our own room. It’s a hotel on a Saturday night, where people watch TV and talk. Being told even laughter wasn’t allowed felt like policing normal behavior, not managing noise. If guests are expected to keep monastery-level quiet, that should be clear before booking. Earlier that evening we had accidentally left music on past 11pm. Once someone let us know, we apologized and turned it off right away. We accepted that we’d made a small mistake and followed the rules. Waking us at 5am and acting as though we couldn’t quietly exist in our room was unacceptable. We won’t stay here again. For nearly $500 a room, I’d take my money to another hotel in the area.

The way a staff member treated us at the entrance on this visit was the last straw. We had just been dropped off, and while we were gathering our things and saying goodbye to family, a woman pounded on the car window and yelled that we were blocking traffic. The car had been stopped for no more than 30 seconds, and I hadn’t even unbuckled yet. Other cars were idling in front and beside us, and more stayed there after our ride left without getting the same reaction. She could have raised the concern respectfully. This kind of behavior isn’t unusual here, and guests seem to get little respect based on how they look. My husband and I used to come to Caesars Windsor often despite the high prices, because the location is great, the rooms are adequately clean, and the stay is generally pleasant. But service has declined badly over the past few years. Staff can be rude and snippy over simple requests, and customer service has been deeply disappointing. We’re very disappointed in where this place is headed and wouldn’t recommend it anymore. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

The beds were comfortable, most staff were nice, and the property was clean apart from the parking garage. But the place seems far too focused on profits and not enough on the guest experience, so I won’t be back. At Legends, the restaurant and Sportsbook, prices have gone up while portions have shrunk. Water pressure was shockingly poor, and the slot machines still feel criminally tight. I lost $1700 on $2.5-$3.75 bets in less than 90 minutes. Check-in started the visit on a sour note. We arrived at 230, and the desk was nearly empty. The friendly agent said our room was ready, but checking in before 3pm would cost an extra $25. I hate that on principle. If I checked out at 10am instead of 11am, would I get $25 back? I don’t think so.

The rooms are pretty nice and the people are decent, but the food wasn’t great. I ate at every restaurant except Nero’s, so I can’t comment on that one. The slot payouts were terrible. I played $2.40 a spin, got the bonus feature, and it paid just $1.20. I lost more in 24 hours than I did all last year. Worst casino I’ve ever visited. I won’t be back.

I liked that it felt like an adults-only hotel, with no kids running around. The rest was disappointing. They charged a $25 resort fee each night, but the pool and hot tub were closed, there were no free breakfast vouchers, and there weren’t any amenities that felt resort-like. The bathroom sign said housekeeping comes every third night as part of a sustainability program to reduce waste and save energy and water. I completely disagree with that fee. Check-in was awkwardly placed on the far side of the casino entrance, meaning lots of walking and escalators, especially hard for someone with a handicap.
