The off-season price was great. It’s a beautiful building and seems fairly well looked after. My room felt a little dated, but it was still comfortable.

We chose to stop overnight in Wolseley on our drive across Canada because of the reviews for Lucky’s, and we were glad we did. Lucky is a warm, friendly host. The food he and his wife make is fresh, flavourful, and authentic. Such a lovely surprise. Don’t miss it!

We came out from the city for a drive and picked this place after searching for somewhere to eat in Wolseley. The reviews about the Butter Chicken were right. The meat was really tender, and the sauce was rich and full of flavour. It was the best I’ve had. My husband asked for a spicy drink, and the owner made him a special Caesar that he loved. We didn’t stay overnight. The crowded seating and dated furnishings are why I’m giving it four stars. I assume a typical small-town hotel like this may not bring in enough to upgrade, but sometimes those are the best spots.

We’ve met up here now and then and enjoyed it, though it isn’t somewhere I go often. It’s a local place to sit, meet people, and chat, with a bar, hotel, restaurant, and liquor store. The place is clean and tidy, but it’s no Ritz. The food is tasty and fresh, especially the vegetarian dishes, and drinks are reasonably priced with a nice selection of top-shelf liquor. I haven’t stayed at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the rooms.
