Our room had a balcony facing the lake, and sitting there late at night was so peaceful. It was spotless, easily passing a white glove test. The staff were friendly, patient, and really helpful. After we missed a connection and arrived late, they made sure we could still have dinner at a table, and the restaurant food was excellent. A great finish to an exhausting day. They also took time to explain the bus system so we could get the most from our trip, and arranged a taxi for our departure. The price was a little above average for the area, but they made it feel worthwhile. We’ll use them again when we come back.

The lake view, pool, and location were genuinely lovely, and the staff were nice and dedicated. But the supposed premium suite was so cramped, especially the room and bathroom, that we could barely pass each other. The furniture and design felt poor too. It reminded me of a care home for elderly people. That might have been acceptable at a lower rate, but we paid CHF 200 per night. We also had to call the manager at 11pm to open the front door because the hotel was closed, and he wasn’t particularly helpful. It’s a nice place in some ways, but not worth the price they ask. As a Swiss guy, I’m used to prices here, but this stay was disappointing.

The view was just wonderful, and the pool was lovely too. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were amazing. We’ll definitely come back.

Loved the Arancio. I told the receptionist I’d give it two more stars, making it a five-star place. It suited me just fine! 😎
