Our family of three found the apartment Dali ideal, and we’d love to come back. It’s a modern studio on the first floor, with an elevator, and very centrally located. The view is phenomenal through huge windows, though they’re locked for safety. Everything worked perfectly, there was hot water nonstop, the beds were comfortable, and the TV is smart. The place was exceptionally clean.
The apartment looked like the pictures and was generally fine, but the stay left a poor impression. There’s no reception, so I couldn’t pay the city tax in person. Even after I sent bank transaction proof for the €18, I got constant emails and six or seven phone calls over the weekend. The transfer simply hadn't reached them yet because it was the weekend. When my friend lost a passport and I emailed urgently to ask whether it had been found, nobody responded.
It’s very clean and centrally located, but the street has several restaurants and bars, so it can get a bit noisy if you want peace and quiet. There’s no air-conditioning, so ask for a fan in summer. A big plus was having a washing machine and tumble drier for guests to use. Bring your own detergent and softener.
The kitchen had everything I needed since I cooked in each evening, and the bed and bathroom were really comfortable. The apartment sits above a busy corner, but the soundproofing was excellent. It was quite humid during my eight-day stay, so a fan would have helped, and appliance instructions in English were missing. Still, a 10/10 for me.
There’s plenty of space and the apartment is nicely furnished, clean, and cosy. My only small gripe was the bathroom setup: the sliding glass door doesn’t lock.
