The staff were lovely and even lent me a kettle, which the basic room didn’t have. There was no safe or fridge either, and the bed topper kept sliding off. The hotel is close to Basel station, so it worked well as a base for trips elsewhere. Tram stops right outside also take you to Basel old town and other places.

I stay here often because it’s such good value. The rooms are comfortable, but the front desk team is what keeps me coming back. They’re always welcoming, really friendly, and happy to help with requests.

We were here for work with a group for about 1.5 weeks. The rooms aren’t huge, but they were laid out well and very clean. The staff were the standout. They helped our large group with early check-ins, late check-outs, baggage storage, and all kinds of general assistance.

The sheets were clean, and reception quickly and politely sent a housekeeper when I pointed out the dirty bathroom at check-in. I asked to see the photos after the cleaning, and that’s what they looked like. That’s all I can say for the hotel. I’m giving two stars for the good location, nothing else. Dear Ibis, there were only 2 towels. Am I supposed to use one for both my face and butt? Best regards. Goodbye.

The location is perfect, and the staff are so friendly. It’s a budget hotel, so the room is tiny and has just the bare necessities, but it was clean and comfortable.
