The restaurant was excellent, and everyone serving us was friendly and spot on. After a fun day sledding, it was a great place to wind down. The rooms are simple but very clean, with comfortable bedding and a shower that had good pressure and temperature. It's just a two-minute walk from the train station and about a minute from the start of the sledding piste. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're heading up the mountain.

The food was awful and barely warm, and the quality didn't come close to justifying the price. We also waited over half an hour for only two dishes, with really rude service. I visited the restaurant last summer and wouldn't recommend it.

The food was the highlight of my weekend in September 2023. I was lucky enough to try dishes from the Wild menus on both nights, and it was among the best restaurant food I had during five weeks in Europe. The hotel also makes a great base for hiking, with lovely trails in both directions just across the tracks. I slept comfortably, and the location is excellent, right in front of a new train station that's due to open. Really memorable meals and a great spot.

Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both disappointing. I also wish the hotel site had mentioned the new tunnel construction right outside, with hundreds of meters of conveyor belts. At least it didn't make noise at night.

The Herbst menu was excellent, as good as or even better than what I had in Bergün, and worth going out of the way for. I especially enjoyed the Kastaniencremesuppe mit Dörrpflaumen (9Fr) and the Hexenpolenta Herbstteller with Eierschwämmli, Rotkraut, Marroni, and more (25Fr). I hadn't seen Hexenpolenta on any menus in Bergün.
