The room was a highlight: my sixth-floor suite had great views, a good coffee machine, a wet room and two TVs. It was also a lovely walk from the station, under ten minutes with plenty of tempting shop windows along the way. The hotel is right by the Zytglogge, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops close by. I didn't eat there, though the restaurant looked nice. One staff member came into my room before I could answer their knock, and reception didn't ask about my stay or wish me a good day when I left. Service could use a little training. Still, I had a fantastic stay in a very pretty place while attending a conference at the Kursaal.

8/10
Good value for the price, and the room had what I needed, including water bottles and decent Wi-Fi. It was clean, comfortable and quiet at night, with gym access too. The downsides were thin pillows and walls that let me hear other guests getting ready and moving around in the morning. Breakfast didn't feel worth the price, and getting to the lift could be a struggle when non-guests were heading to the bar on the eighth floor.

We ate at the Volkhaus restaurant and really enjoyed the dinner. Our business double was newly renovated, with a great shower, Ritual amenities and a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. A great one-night stay.

The restaurant service was fantastic, though reception staff came across as professional rather than warm or welcoming. Our room was fairly spacious, clean and comfortable, and the location was good. The bathroom is partly open, with the sink out in the room. I had a bit of trouble getting the air conditioning to work, but it turned out fine.

Great service, a lovely room, good views and a really comfortable bed and pillows. The Ritual amenities were nice too. The location was even better. A+ all around, 100% recommend.
