Dinner made me so happy, it was that good. The owners were super nice, and with so few other guests, the hut felt especially quiet. We spent one night here and loved the peaceful setting and beautiful views. Breakfast and morning coffee were nice too. No need to bring a sleeping bag, since they have blankets. Highly recommended, and I hope to come back in winter.

The food was delicious, and the owner was friendly and helpful. The Capanna was lovely and warm. A relaxing mountain weekend or a couple of excursions would both work well here, and there are some really nice snowshoe walks too. I’d recommend it.

The owner Daniel made an excellent original Swiss cheese fondue just for the two of us. We also had a hot shower in the evening, which is very unusual at a mountain hut, and got a four-bed room to ourselves for the night. The hiking in this quiet part of Switzerland was superb. What more could you ask for?
