Hotel Wildbach

We didn't stay at the hotel, so can't comment on it, but the location is excellent and the views are beautiful. We'd definitely consider staying there on our next trip. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant, with a welcoming atmosphere, great food, and excellent service, all alongside those lovely views. Highly recommended.

The best thing about this place is its location and the amazing views on both sides of the lake. There's a little beach for swimming just across the street, and trains pass right by the hotel. You can hear them during the day, but they were quiet at night. The rooms and shared bathroom were very clean, and the staff were helpful and polite. It was the cheapest option in the area, and we didn't mind sharing a bathroom. Breakfast was nice, though the bread and dessert buns seemed rather old. Otherwise, I really recommend the place.

The view feels almost unreal, and the staff suggested trying SUP right outside the restaurant, which was a great idea. We only ate there, so I can’t say anything about the rooms, but the asparagus soup was delicious and the service was excellent. Thanks for such a lovely visit.

The host and breakfast were a real highlight, with fresh long-stem roses on every table and even delicate pink toilet tissue in the room. You can take a picnic down to the dock, and watercraft are available to rent. Our spacious room had a balcony with gorgeous lake, waterfall, and mountain views. The bed and soft linens were the nicest we’ve had across four Swiss hotels on this trip. A wonderful base for exploring the area, and a little Swiss paradise where no detail seemed overlooked.
