We had lunch at Les Montagnrds on Saturday and it was excellent. The room is lovely, with a beautiful view over the valley and the mountains in the distance. The attentive service, food and excellent wine list are what make this restaurant stand out. Well worth taking a detour for.

After waiting two weeks, we ended up in a room that was far too bright, paying more for food we could get elsewhere. The lighting alone makes this a big no for me. Like the newly renovated restaurants around this region, this place has the same design mistake: it's so bright it feels like a bus station, or worse. The brasserie atmosphere is uncomfortable enough to put me off eating there.

We had a really nice stay at les Montagnards. The double room was cozy and had a mountain view, though it could have used a little more equipment. The bathroom was clean, the staff friendly, and the location made it super convenient to explore the area. Good value for money!

We'd never come across this place before in the Gruyère area, but the restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food was excellent and the wine list amazing.

The room was a great size and comfortable. The hotel is very new and clean, and the location is perfect, with parking and a supermarket right across the road.
