Extremely bad. This budget hotel has no facilities, and it doesn't even deliver the quiet, clean place to sleep you'd expect. The hotel is loud and smells bad. People from the burger place downstairs talk outside late into the night, and the poor sound insulation means you hear everything, even on the third floor. The ventilation seems to be shared with the burger place, runs loudly, and brings an unpleasant smell into the room. I even doubt it complies with local regulations. There's no proper reception, just a screen on a stand for speaking to someone by webcam. The remote receptionist can't help with anything happening in the room. There was no iron in the room either. The pillows were extremely old, with their filling clumped into little hard balls.

The lady who checked us in was friendly, quick, and efficient. We had paid the city tax, checked in, and got our room key within five minutes. The location is ideal for the train station, and city parking was nearby. Everything was clean and tidy. Our twin room was small, with a tiny private bathroom but a good shower, and the window looked out at the castle. It was quite hot during our stay, but the fan provided was just right at night. Thanks so much!

The room was fine, though too small to open large suitcases comfortably. I stayed at the hotel after cancelling my direct booking by email when I found a cheaper rate on Booking.com. Nearly a month later, I still haven't got my deposit back, even though I cancelled on January 23rd. The hotel is unreliable, so be careful about paying deposits directly to it.

A decent place in the town centre, and the rooms are generally comfortable and clean. The building is old and the rooms feel quite archaic, so a renovation is due. The washroom needs work too. Beds are comfortable, but if your room faces the street, the noise is awful early in the morning. Wifi is patchy and unreliable.

A good hotel for its price and location. The concierge is virtual, but it works. There's free parking across the street from 7 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
