Tesserete

A really lovely small hotel, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is simple, but it covers the basics. I'd recommend it to my friends and family without hesitation.

Such a beautiful setting, with exceptional hospitality. We arrived late for our one-night stay and were met with great service and friendliness. Breakfast the next morning was just as welcoming. I'd love to return and would recommend it to everyone.

The owners Luca, Oliver and Guido made our one-night stay a highlight of the walking tour. Oliver welcomed us and spoke several languages, which made us feel at ease. Since Europe was in the middle of a terrible heatwave, he suggested things to do, including a nearby pool that made our day. Guido shared stories about his family, his grandmother's gelato machine and the area, then suggested evening walks. The food was very good, too. Their kindness and hospitality would deserve six stars or more. It was apparently Europe's hottest week on record while we were there. The rooms are small and sparse, but clean and comfortable. They provided fans. There is no air conditioning, which isn't unusual and probably isn't needed most of the time. We were booked into the hotel above the restaurant as part of our walking tour. If you're in Tesserte, I'd definitely recommend staying and eating here. The nearby pool is top notch!

We spent a week at this wonderful hotel near Lugano. Oliver and Luca Besomi are excellent hosts, both at the hotel and at restaurant Stazione.
