Geneva Marriott Hotel

Getting around was simple, with the airport shuttle and trams 14 and 18 nearby for the trip into Geneva’s CBD. There’s also a shopping area with a Coop a short walk away, and you can ask the front desk after check-in about a free local transport ticket. The hotel still feels new, and the rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The lobby and restaurant are pleasant, breakfast had a great buffet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Marriott Geneva team made this a comfortable stopover and the stay exceeded my expectations.

We really liked how easy it was to get around. The airport shuttle is free, and the tram stop is only a 2-3 minute walk away. We also made good use of the free transport passes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were large and clean. Our main problem was the heat in the room during our January visit. Opening the window didn't cool it down, and the AC switches off when the window is open. I think the motion-sensing thermostat also cut the fans while we were asleep and hardly moving, which disrupted our sleep. The hotel would have been perfect for us without those new thermostats Marriot hotels have started installing.

Musa at the concierge desk was especially kind and supportive, and everyone else we met was welcoming and provided outstanding service. That made our one-night stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, exceptionally clean, and felt brand new. It was built in 2023, and the modern design and fresh feel showed in both the rooms and the facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would definitely return on my next trip to Geneva.

The breakfast buffet would make my top 10. The rooms are modern and very well appointed, and while the hotel isn't in the city center, the tram gets you there in 15 minutes. The airport is only a short 5 minute shuttle ride away.
