The slanted floors may be part of the building's charm, even if some reviews say it needs renovation. We really appreciated the nice rest during our Haute Route adventure. The pizza was excellent and great value, and breakfast was excellent too. A nice surprise.

We stopped in for lunch after a short hike and ordered two pizzas and a couple of drinks. Both pizzas were tasty and really good, though we couldn't finish them after hiking. They were happy to box up the leftovers for us to take back to camp. It was a quiet day at the restaurant, and the people were super friendly and helpful. They're very dog friendly too.

The food and service were very good, and our waitress worked incredibly hard throughout our stay. Breakfast was especially nice, among the best we've had on the trip, in the typical European style. We stayed in the refurbished rooms, which were very nice. The older rooms we looked at weren't as nice, but weren't horrible either. The owners and staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful on our layover day. I'd definitely stay here again.

The service wasn't friendly or helpful, so I wouldn't recommend this place. The accommodation is very basic with limited services, and the rooms are crowded. All 12 rooms on the floor share just one bathroom and toilet. Breakfast is basic and costs an extra CHF15, which is too expensive on top of paying $130 for a shared room with no bathroom.

Breakfast was really unpleasant. My partner and I didn't finish the meal because the cooking was awful, but we only left two eggs and the croissant. At the end, the man at the receipt yelled at and humiliated us, saying we had wasted food and couldn't understand why we hadn't finished. It was a very bad experience. I'd definitely choose somewhere else to stay.
