We enjoyed the tasty food and the good choice of typical Swiss dishes. The wine list is fairly priced and has a great selection of genuinely good Swiss wines. The restaurant has a spacious outdoor seating area for warm, dry days, and the traditional decor inside is amazing.

The food was excellent, and the staff and owners were lovely and super friendly. This is a quaint Swiss guest house by the lake, with traditionally styled rooms and new bathrooms that complement them beautifully. Highly recommended.

We got a nice discount for staying 4 nights, and would definitely stay here again. The charming, clean room had a beautiful modern bathroom, and the food was excellent, though there are other very good restaurants nearby. It was a great base for exploring Schwyz and Uri. The village also has one of the prettiest churches in the country, and the boat dock and bus stop are a 3-5 minute walk from the gasthaus.
