The balcony has a very good mountain view, and the apartment is spacious. The kitchen has all the necessary items, and there’s a washing machine in the building basement. With just one toilet and bathroom, it’s inconvenient for six people, the maximum occupancy. It would also be more attractive if the area around the building were made into a playground for kids.

The housekeeper is offensive and keeps showing up without warning, barging in as though guests have no privacy. The place feels more like a museum than a chalet, and it isn’t wheelchair accessible. The furniture looks like it came from a shelter home or a yard sale. I wouldn’t recommend it to friends or anyone else. It shouldn’t be called a chalet, and Grindelwald municipality should revoke it and demolish it because it gives the gorgeous surroundings a bad image.

Nice lodge, though it feels small for a family of six.
