I can't understand how anyone says this hotel is okay. There was banging on the door in the middle of the night that woke us up, or made it impossible to sleep. It felt mostly full of drug addicts and all the problems that come with that. The tap water was gray and full of limescale. They advertised Wi-Fi, but it didn't work. The cleaner went on vacation for two weeks, so there was no cleaning during that time. At 1333 CHF a month, this place is a dump. I'd be ashamed to rent it at that price. The owner is profiting from people's distress, like some kind of social contract. If we were morally upright, the owner would be in serious trouble. We were bothered half the time by this bunch of cocaine-addled penguins. It was a terrible experience, and in an ideal world they should refund at least half the rent. Avoid this hotel.

I’m staying at Rex Hotel at the moment and find it pretty nice. My room has a bed, wardrobe, sink, fridge, and TV, and I’m comfortable here. There are better places, but they cost more, around 1200 francs for a month.

I’ve always been welcomed warmly here, and the value for money beats the other places in the area by a long way. I recommend it without hesitation.
