The rooms are clean, though the design and furniture feel quite old. The location makes it easy to get anywhere in the city or head out of town, and the train station is close. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby too.

Honestly, it was a pretty disappointing experience. The old historic building has a lot of charm and potential, and the host was charming too. Still, it didn't live up to what I'd expected for the central location, the price, and a three-star hotel. The room was too hot, and there was no way to adjust it yourself. Poor insulation meant I could hear things outside, and the flat pillows didn't help. My colleagues and I didn't feel rested after sleeping there. Breakfast in the restaurant was decent, but nothing special.

The rooms feel dated, and the appliances are old and noisy.

We had a lovely stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. The design is a little retro, and the hairdryer in our room didn't work, but otherwise it was lovely.

Clean and just right for a business trip.
