We really liked this hotel. The rooms were roomy and clean, and the owner was lovely and gave us helpful tips for hikes around the area. He also arranged an early breakfast so we could set off hiking as soon as possible. We were very happy with our stay.

Our room was clean and pleasant, with balconies, and parking was behind the building. Right in central Lenk, the hotel also has a very nice owner. The lifts are just outside town, about a five-minute drive away. During the Covid restrictions, having breakfast and dinner across the street at the larger Hotel Krone worked out really well.

The staff were really friendly, but there were a couple of problems in the room. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly, and the wifi only worked from one corner.

A lovely hotel close to the center. Lenk (Lungern), between Lucerne and Interlaken, is said to be one of the prettiest villages in the Alps. The scenery is beautiful, with a clear blue lake, green meadows, and mountains all around. It’s a peaceful spot for nature lovers, with things to do like hiking and skiing.
