We chose this apartment through booking.com for our trip, our first time booking an apartment, and were very satisfied. The rooms were clean, with enough space for our family of four, and everything from the kitchen appliances to the bathroom and beds was taken care of. There's a Coop store right beside it, and the bus stop is just a few steps away at Fluhmuhle. Lucerne Bahnhof main station is 12 minutes away by bus. Highly recommended.
My experience with Easy Living was very poor. I applied for an apartment on Saturday and was told I'd hear back Monday, but got no reply and had to follow up myself. Then they said there was a reservation and promised an update about availability by Wednesday. Again, nothing. Calls went unanswered and emails were ignored. I explained that I urgently needed an apartment, but weeks later still had no answer. Extremely disappointing service and unprofessional.
We’ve stayed with Easy-Living before, but after this we won’t book with them again. Two weeks before our arrival in Luzern, they cancelled our stay, even though we had paid for the appartement in full the week before. They first said Lucerne City had introduced a law that meant the appartement couldn’t be rented under the agreement we had. That explanation made no sense to us, especially since we’re originally from Luzern, even though we live in Australia. After a few messages, they said the issue was short stays. If they don’t accept two-week stays, why take our booking and payment in the first place? We were left in an awful situation at very short notice, and feel we should be compensated. I’m disgusted by how we were treated, and we’re spreading the word.
We had a memorable, safe and really pleasant four-night stay. Even arriving late at night, self check-in was easy because the instructions were clearly written, and check-out was just as simple. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen has almost everything you might need. They also provide a washing machine and iron. The place is very close to luzern station, in a safe area. Coop and Migros are near the station, with another shop a short walk across the street. I’d happily recommend it to families or regular travelers.
Such a spacious, neat place, with plenty of kitchen utensils, and it’s close to a bus stop. We stayed four days as a big family and had an awesome time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and took really good care of us. Their genuine attention made a huge difference.
