The Hotel Luzern, Autograph Collection

Patrick’s kindness made what could have been a very stressful trip manageable. I’d broken my foot in Paris and could barely walk, but he arranged assistance at the train station and even called the Italian train station himself to help make the journey go smoothly. He also found ice packs and a shower chair, and kept checking that I was comfortable. His care and professionalism made me feel at home. The service here was top-notch, and I’m deeply grateful. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for that kind of hospitality.

The suite on the penthouse level was enormous, with a wraparound deck and lovely views over Lucerne and the surrounding mountains. The movie-themed art gave the room a look I really liked. I’d been upgraded, and the whole stay made a perfect final night for my European vacation, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. At check-in, the manager and Alexander greeted me so warmly. Both were friendly and professional, and Alexander was especially great with guests. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, from the service and presentation to the food. I was thrilled to find real Canadian maple syrup with the pancakes. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The penthouse gave us beautiful views of the city on both sides, and it was just a quick walk from the train station. I felt at home in our space, with staff greeting me warmly and courteously wherever I went. The room may have been the best accommodation I’ve ever had in any city. It was a rare experience for me, and I’m grateful for it. I’ll stay here every time I return to Lucerne.

We were traveling with our dog, and The Hotel Lucerne made him feel just as welcome as we did. There was a dog bed in the room, with a treat and toy waiting for him. The staff were wonderfully kind, and before we arrived they helped coordinate our arrival and explain where to park. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The floor-to-ceiling art is quirky, though it grew on me. The location also worked really well, just a few minutes on foot from sights like Chapel Bridge and with lots of good restaurants nearby. We had an incredible stay and absolutely recommend this hotel in Lucerne.
