Hotel Landhaus

Albert & Frida is close to the river Aare and right by the town center, so you can walk to just about everything you might want to see in Bern. The rooms were clean and cozy, with their own distinctive feel, and the staff were remarkably friendly. You can tell they care about the work. They also really listened to what we needed, even when it was something unusual. I accidentally booked the wrong date for technical reasons. It was my mistake, and they could have simply said there was nothing they could do, but instead they waived one of the payments, and it was the more expensive one. I ended up paying less for a more luxurious room. Such unexpected kindness. Thanks, Albert and Frida, I'll certainly be back!

The area was just right for us, quiet but only a short walk or tram ride from everything. A lovely little hotel, clean and cozy, with a nice breakfast and really friendly staff.

Breakfast was outstanding, with a surprising range of options for food sensitivities, and the room was comfortable and arranged just how we needed it. The decor is fun, eclectic, and comfortable too. The staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone greeted us with a real smile and was helpful, from the person checking us in and telling us how to float down the river to the person making café au lait in the morning.
