Lake Lucerne is very close. What a great location.

We ordered a cheese plate with our wine, but had to complain after waiting 30 minutes. When it finally arrived, the cheese looked as though it had been sitting at the counter for a long time. The waiter’s excuses were unnecessary and unfriendly. No need to go there.

We really enjoyed the place. The food is delicious and high quality, nicely presented, and the atmosphere is cozy, with fair prices. It’s child-friendly and even has a bowling alley. Since the winery got a new owner in September 2017, I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooms are decent, but the hotel feels makeshift. Staff seemed unprofessional, there’s no night porter, and the service is very questionable.
