The team made our stay unforgettable with their professionalism and warm welcome. Thanks to Antonella and everyone. Highly recommended if you’re in the area, and don’t miss the San Salvatore Funicular.

Awesome stay. Everything was perfect, with a great price and a location near the lake. The room was large, the mini bar was free and refilled daily, and there was even a swimming pool. I’ll definitely come back!

Getting around Lugano and the surrounding area was easy, with train and bus networks nearby. We booked bed and breakfast, and the whole experience was exemplary. Breakfast was fresh and varied, the staff were welcoming and professional, and every detail was taken care of. I have a brain injury that makes me sensitive to noise, so I asked for a quiet room at the end of a corridor on a high floor. The staff took that seriously and made sure we got it. The room was peaceful and comfortable, just right for a restful stay. Highly recommended for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service in Lugano.

The outdoor pool and charming courtyard were highlights for relaxing after exploring Lugano, and the restaurants served delicious Swiss and Mediterranean food made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Breakfast was a treat, with a wide range of choices. Staff went above and beyond, offering personal service and excellent tips for exploring the region. Hotel De La Paix is just a short walk from Lake Lugano, with easy access to the city’s main attractions. Its classic style and modern amenities create a peaceful, welcoming feel. Rooms are spacious, very clean, and designed for comfort, with plush bedding, high-end toiletries, and often balconies with beautiful lake or mountain views. From arrival, we were met with warm hospitality and a sophisticated atmosphere that suits the beauty of Lugano. Hotel De La Paix is a memorable, elegant, and comfortable choice in one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities, whether you’re visiting for a romantic getaway, family holiday, or business trip.

The historic building has a bit of wear and could use some renovation, but it has its own charm. We had a very pleasant stay and thought it was good value for the price. The location worked well, with Paradiso, the ferry, beaches, shops, and restaurants all nearby. There’s free outdoor parking, indoor parking for 20Chf/day, and a free electric car charger. The pool was a good size, and breakfast was decent, though I wish omelettes weren’t extra.
