After a 9 hours long drive through the mountains from Italy into Swiss, I was exhausted, my eyes were closing and I just needed a bed. I called at 11pm and they said they had a room, then sent a website link with the code. Perfect timing, and it meant my boys could stay a day longer in Swiss for his birthday. Recommended, thank you!

Thanks to the lovely German B &B manager, we were able to get a room by stopping in and asking directly. We took a lovely walk and swim nearby, then found a restaurant. The place has a totally new Hotel feel. I loved the architecture and the story of the area in the introduction.

The room was really nice, and there's an option to book a private spa that looked extremely nice. We missed it because it closes at 6pm, so there's no chance to enjoy it in the evening. The hotel is by the road, so you hear some traffic, but with the windows closed it wasn't too loud.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a free toothbrush when I needed one. The 24h key-box check-in and out is handy too, and lets you stay flexible with last minute plans. Just follow the emails and it's easy. If something goes wrong, you can even get the boss on voice from his caccay to guide you. Maybe a bit workaholic, but he's enthusiastically involved. It's a modern, relaxed, stylish and sweet place. The rooms have astonishing views, and the wellness area tucked into the Rock formation is wonderfully quaint. Breakfast has a decent range, and it was very quiet even though the hotel is on the road. A wonderful base for the trails nearby. Definitely worth staying, and coming back.
