Room 101 is well worth recommending. It may be the only room in the hotel with its own private roof terrace. The place is super clean and restful, convenient for Basel, with plenty of conveniences nearby.

We had a very happy, relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast at the Co-Op next door was great. The hotel is well placed for getting in and out of Basel, and the rooms were spotless and quiet. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very good and affordable. It has a modern design, spacious rooms, and all the facilities you'd expect, including a fridge, safe, and nespresso machine in the room. We skipped the hotel breakfast because there was a superb bakery across the road. Muttenz, in the Basel district, is well served by trains and trams. During Fasnacht, you get a pass that makes public transport free. We used at least two trams and two trains each day for 5 days. Excellent.

Muttenz is a charming, quiet town, with easy access into Basel. The hotel is in a great spot, close to a tram stop and a Coop next door. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
