The location is good, about a 10-minute walk to the city centre and within walking distance of places of interest. I loved the beer at the bar next to the hotel. My double room with balcony was clean, had a nice view, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended!

For my cycle tour, the secure bicycle storage was a real plus. It’s excellent and only a few minutes’ walk away. The staff provided excellent service, and breakfast was good. My fifth-floor room had no ventilation apart from the windows, including in the bathroom. With the street sometimes noisy in the early hours, I couldn’t leave them open, but closing them soon made the room stifling. Like many European hotels, this place needs to invest in ventilation and air conditioning as the climate warms.

For a three-star hotel, the rooms are really good. I’d rate it higher if there were adjustable heating and things like a hair dryer, mini fridge, safe, and extra pillows or blankets in the closet. Breakfast requires a coupon for each person, which they provide on arrival.

The service was good, and we got free parking vouchers, public transport vouchers, and discount vouchers for some attractions. The room was OK, but it had no air conditioning, and a fan doesn’t fix that. It’s on the corner of a busy road, so opening the windows would have cooled things down, but the traffic was far too loud. With the windows shut and no air conditioning...
