A cozy Alpine style hut near the train station, surrounded by meadows and covered in snow in winter, with spectacular mountain scenery. The restaurant and bar are welcoming, with very good food and fabulous desserts. The rooms are clean and have bathrooms, and wi fi is available.

We'd definitely come back. It's a lovely place to unwind and a perfect base for exploring Valposchiavo. The hostess and her team are attentive and welcoming. After our first night, they were happy to give us a room with a balcony.
The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety, including fresh fruit, local mountain cheese, dried meat, and remarkably good yogurt. I had a balcony room with a magnificent view of the mountains, though the bathroom was shared. The rooms range from rustic to functional, and for this location the shared bathroom is a small price to pay. The new owners (summer 2018) were extremely accommodating. The risotto with wild alpine thyme was excellent, and the house wine went perfectly with it. All in all, a fantastic experience!
