The evening meals are cooked by Elena on the wood-burning stove and served by candlelight in the dining room next door. Before dinner, you can pick a bottle from the wine cellar. We loved the lively conversations around the long table each night, then slept wonderfully. La Rösa is a truly special inn, with a rustic charm that's survived the renovations. Each new guest gets a personal welcome and a tour. The rooms are simple but incredibly cozy. A bath in the copper tub on the floor, with the stove crackling nearby and the room warm, is a real treat. If you want something ordinary, this isn't the place. We'll be back! Uschi and Fredi

A romantic little hideaway, and a real insider tip. The food is delicious, all cooked on a 200-year-old wood-burning stove. Service is top-notch, friendly, and welcoming. Shhh, don't tell anyone...

It's worth stopping by for a nice ice cream and a chance to relax. The place is lovely, the food is good, and the owners are helpful and courteous. My partner is vegetarian and I'm dairy intolerant, but they found a solution for both of us. They also have their own vegetable garden, so the vegetables are very fresh and locally sourced.
