The view over Lake Maggiore is phenomenal. The apartment was spotless, with a comfortable sofa, a great shower, and a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The Wi-Fi, TV, and washing machine all worked perfectly. Parking is right beside the house, though the space is a little tight, so reversing in is definitely a good idea. We had one hand towel and one bath towel per person, so we washed them once during our stay. The mattresses felt too soft for us, and the curtains may not block enough light for people who need a dark room to sleep. The air conditioning worked in only one room, and with the church right next door, we couldn’t sleep with the windows open. The dryer was still out of order, despite being told a few days before we arrived that it would be working.

We found salt, a small set of dishcloths, and dish soap in the kitchen. The Wi-Fi, TV, and washing machine worked perfectly, and the sofa was very comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were well-equipped, too. The apartment was very clean, with a phenomenal view of Lake Maggiore. Parking is right next to the house. We washed the towels once during our stay. The mattresses were too soft for us, and the bedrooms can only be darkened with curtains. The air conditioning worked in just one room. The dryer was still out of order, even though we’d checked a few days before arriving and were assured it would be working.

The views from every window and from the balcony were breathtaking. We stayed in the Red View Apartment, which was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer. Ascona and Locarno are only a few minutes away by car. There’s also a little shop just around the corner for quick shopping.
