The food was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and very comfortable, just a short distance from the train station. Cinuos-chel is a charming little village.

The train ride from Cinuos-Chel-Brail station gives you an hour of amazing mountain views, and you can reach anywhere in Oberengadin within that time. The station itself is just a minute’s walk from the hotel. This isn’t my first stay here, and they’ve never disappointed me. The rooms are cozy, the people are the sweetest, and breakfast is always great. All the food is amazing, especially the dinner menu with its game meat and local dishes. A lovely hotel.

The location worked well for what we were doing, and the rooms were decent. Just know the hotel has two buildings on opposite sides of the main road. You may hear some traffic from the main building or passing trains from the one across the road, but I can honestly say the noise level wasn't a problem.

The homemade müesli was what I looked forward to most each morning, and breakfast was delicious. The restaurant was incredible too, with traditional Bündner dishes. Hotel Veduta is a charming, rustic spot in a tiny Oberengadin village, with lovely wood-heavy rooms and incredible mountain views. The train station is at most a three-minute walk away, with regular trains to Zernez, Samedan, and Pontresina. This was my second stay, and it won’t be my last. Veduta is a paradise, a real treasure.
