The rooms are simple and compact, but clean and well looked after. The facilities are in good shape again after last year’s water and mud damage. We booked through Bolderman at this family hotel, where the owner and staff were friendly. The woman in charge kept a whole busload entertained, and with her team served everyone a good, simple meal. We also enjoyed a cultural tour about the background of the Swiss, and it was suitable for people with disabilities.
We stayed here with Bolderman. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, and the staff were so friendly and ready to help with anything. A really lovely place.
The meals were simple but tasty. Dinner felt a bit like stepping back into the 70s, but we enjoyed it. Our room was very good, with a large bedroom, balcony, and big bathroom with a massage shower. It was cleaned well each day, and we got four fresh towels daily. The hotel itself is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who speak Dutch and German. It’s a wonderful place in the Saas Valley where you quickly feel at home.
We couldn’t stay at Hotel Azalea because of the storm damage, so owners Freddie and Katja arranged a temporary stay at a nearby hotel. We had a fantastic time at Freddie’s. Nela and Anna took such wonderful care of us, and the food was amazing too. Bolderman will definitely keep visiting Freddie and his crew.
The food and service were excellent, and the rooms were kept clean every day. They’re nicely maintained, though on the small side. With a bit more space in the rooms, I’d give it five stars without hesitation. The fiber internet, 150 MB both up and down, is a real plus. A good hotel and worth visiting.
