The view was beautiful, and the staff were really friendly. We only stopped in for a quick beer while nearby, but the smell of the food convinced us to order. Glad we did, it was amazing. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Those tarts are so good, and the rest of the food was fantastic too. It’s a family-run place with a genuinely warm welcome, and they’re happy to have dogs, which can be hard to find. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back. Thank you!

The view over the plateau, with the lake and Alps behind it, is excellent. Try to get a window seat. There’s also good hiking above Saint George. The staff were kind and helpful, and the traditional Swiss food was good quality, though this isn’t a gourmet restaurant anymore. Prices are average. We arrived for lunch at 2:30 on Sunday and they served us without any trouble. A good traditional family restaurant.
