The food was excellent, and we’d come back just for that. Still, compared with last year, everything else felt a little worse, which is why we’re giving four stars instead of five. The waitress was very good and friendly, and did her best, but she needed more help. Service was very slow and the quality suffered. Last year my gin and tonic came with ice in a nicely decorated balloon glass; this year it was lukewarm in a tumbler, without ice, and with just a small lemon slice. It was also a shame we couldn’t eat in the large upstairs room, though we understood if there weren’t enough customers to make it worthwhile.

The people were super welcoming and the service was great. Quality, taste, service, and price were all above average. Thanks!

The food could have been better in both quantity and quality, but all in all, I liked it....

We ordered the CHF 66 set menu, along with wine and water, and the food was wonderful. The asparagus salad was especially good. I’d have preferred regular long-grain rice with the Stroganoff, but it was still delicious. The yogurt mousse with rhubarb and strawberries made for an interesting dessert that wasn’t too sweet. We got there shortly after 6 pm, when it was still quiet, and the charmingly rustic restaurant felt cozy. It might be different when crowded. The service was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it.
