The views were beautiful, and the location was handy for Appenzell. Our room was charming and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had a great range of choices. It was such a relief to have a working elevator for our luggage, unlike at some other hotels in Switzerland. We’d definitely stay here again!

We only stopped in for dinner, but it was a nice meal. We didn’t stay overnight.

The renovation was done with real taste, especially the natural wood and the care given to the details. This was the best experience we’ve ever had in Switzerland. Truly recommend it.

The rooms are cozy, and the shower and bath setup is great. The dinner was sublime, as the French would say. The staff were young and friendly, and I’d highly recommend the gourmet deal.

The restaurant serves fresh, delicious food, and the service is warm and impeccable. The rooms have a charming, minimal look. This place is amazing.
