The stay was comfortable, the staff very helpful, and breakfast was amazing with a variety of fruit. My only real issue was the double room layout: the shower, toilet, and basin were all in the room, and a curtain or wall to separate that bathroom area would have been better.

A traffic jam near St.Gallen led me here by chance, after my Navigon navigator showed the hotel nearby. Check-in was quick and I could choose a room. Mine was comfortable, with a nice view of the surroundings. The Internet was reliable and very fast, up to 3 Mbit/sec, and parking was free. There was also complimentary coffee. The room was decent for the price, so I give Sporting *** hotel 5 stars.

A good option for couples visiting st.gallen, especially for a short trip. The hotel has limited free parking, and there’s also plenty of blue parking around it. Breakfast has a nice range, the staff are very good, and it’s good value for money.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel after dealing with its receptionist. She couldn’t answer a simple question while I was trying to book a room, said she didn’t want to talk to me, then hung up and declined my calls. I’ve never encountered a receptionist so rude.

The staff were friendly, and both the rooms and bathrooms were clean. It’s easy to get to, and breakfast was good. I’d definitely stay here again.
