The restaurant was a real highlight, with excellent food, and the original building is lovely beside the lake. We found the newer accommodation building comfortable, though the rooms are fairly basic. I believe renovations are planned for next year. The staff were warm and went out of their way to help. They also spoke pretty good English, which was handy for a lazy person like me who doesn't speak much German. It was quite expensive, but that's Switzerland for you, so I wouldn't hold the cost against them.

The room was clean and comfortable, with water and an apple waiting for us. The hotel is by the lake and near the Migros and coop shopping centers. It’s a 6-7 minute walk from the train station, and the bus station is close too. The staff were kind and helpful. The restaurant and bar stay open until about 10:00 PM, though the last food order is before 9:00 PM. I really enjoyed staying here.

The weather was lovely, and it made for a really relaxing visit. My daughter and I shared the Fish Platte, which was fresh and delicious, and there was so much that we took the leftovers home. We felt well cared for and left happy.

I left feeling completely recharged. The rooms are simple but have lovely lake views, and the restaurant and seminar building are gorgeous. The food was excellent, and the staff were thoughtful. It’s vegan friendly too, and conveniently placed for people who enjoy both the land and the water.
