The lake view is lovely, and the birdsong is gentle and beautiful. It's so quiet here, just right for a romantic stay or some time alone. The rooms are spectacular, and the staff are warm and remarkable.

It's a pretty, quite clean place, and the location and price were reasonable. Still, it feels like something that was once good has declined over time. The bathroom needed a small repair, and the staff seemed untrained, or maybe they were just learning. Breakfast was a complete wipeout; the coffee was okay.

Be careful with your key. If you accidentally drop it into the big gap by the elevator, you have to pay 50 CHF. They told me I was lucky because a key at another hotel in Switzerland costs 300 CHF. Thanks for the lesson.

A peaceful place with good meals and a sweet Swiss home feel. We had a good stay, though it was quite hot.

It's a good hotel, but the restaurant prices are too high for the quality of the food.
