The location is handy for the pists and train, and there’s even an EV charging station at the hotel. Staff were kind and tried to meet our needs, and breakfast was nice. The family room wasn’t very comfortable, though, and its bathroom didn’t match the photos. For the quality of the room, the price felt quite high.

The second-floor room was excellent. In the rooms with balconies on the first floor, as far as I could tell, there’s a glass bathroom door, so you can see and hear your partner on the toilet. Everything else was great.

Our car broke down on the mountain, and the lovely lady and our Tibetan friend at this hotel helped us contact the service center. They let us stay until the tow truck came, nearly one in the morning. A beautiful hotel with such kind people. We’re very grateful for their help and wish them all the best.

The ride here from Andermatt was every bit as enjoyable as the busier stretches of the Furka pass, with much less traffic. At this beautiful, authentic Gasthof, the staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the views stunning. The food was good too: she had flammkuchen and I had Rösti.
