The place itself is beautiful and clean. But after our large group came in and I used the bathroom first, the owner yelled at us. He calmed down once we said we planned to pay, though he was still snippy. We’d made that clear from the start, so the disrespect felt unnecessary.

We were passing through with a large group and planned to get coffees, but needed the bathroom first. The owner shouted at us, then we felt pushed into probably overpaying for the coffees because “the bathroom costs money.” He came across as rude and miserly. If you want people to enjoy your service, be more accommodating of their needs.

Good food and a nice welcome. It’s a lovely spot to spend a few days in one of Switzerland’s most remote areas.

The family running the place is extremely friendly and pays attention to the little details. It’s a great base for hiking, riding, or biking. They have biker laundry, a garage and tools, and can even arrange shuttles when the weather makes it impossible to cross the mountains.

The food’s amazing, the rooms are comfy, and the people are nice. My favorite part was getting to use the sauna by ourselves for just 10 bucks.
