My family and I had a lovely weekend here. The apartment felt surprisingly roomy, practical, and modern given the age of the building. If you’re coming with kids, leave time for the communal sports center. We spent a couple of hours in the public pool and enjoyed soaking in the outdoor hot pool.

Mountains fill the view in every direction, and it’s stunning. Our room was clean, roomy, and well equipped, and the welcome was warm and friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We made good use of the free indoor pool, and there’s plenty to do indoors too: bowling, pool, ping-pong, an old-school pinball machine, and a playroom for little kids. Free WiFi works reliably in reception, where there’s also a computer if you don’t have a laptop. Parking outside is free; covered spots are limited in high season, so reserve one ahead of time. Our corner apartment had balconies on two sides, with mountain and valley views. The living room has a dining area and an L-shaped lounge, and it also serves as the main bedroom, with beds that fold away during the day. The separate kitchen has everything needed to cook for yourself. There’s a ski room for storing and drying gear, and the setting in the Raetian Alps also makes trekking, cycling, and day drives easy to reach, so it seems like a good mountain break in any season. Chesa Clois 24 is an easy five-minute walk from Lenzerheide town centre, where free buses take you to the different ski lifts. Check-in was simple, and the efficient, friendly Anglo-Swiss couple Deborah and Fritz Gerber were happy to help with anything throughout our stay.

There was lots to do around the house, with billiards, bowling, table tennis, and more. Italian TV was the one thing I missed. 👍
