Everything here deserves five stars and more: the location, room, breathtaking view, cleanliness, staff, food, care for nature and thoughtful details in every corner. My stay was simply extraordinary. I can’t think of another hotel where I could confidently give more than five stars. If there were extra stars, I’d gladly award them all. We came for a casual coffee in the afternoon and asked if we could sit just for drinks. The waiter said that was fine. Before the drinks arrived, one of us changed from coffee to chamomile tea, but a staff member said it was “too late” because the coffee had already been made. I glanced at the bar and didn't see any cups prepared, so that was confusing. The coffee came shortly after, and we ordered an extra chamomile tea anyway. It took nearly 15 minutes to arrive, even though several staff were walking around and we reminded them multiple times. The service felt unreasonably slow and inconsistent. As an Asian tourist, I couldn't help wondering if we were being treated differently, which left me with an unpleasant impression. I know service culture varies in some parts of Europe, but basic courtesy and professionalism should be consistent for all guests. I hope management reviews both service speed and staff training in hospitality.

Alex, the manager, did a lot to make our stay delightful, and the reception staff were so kind. We were there at the beginning of December as a couple with our 3 years old, who's a very fussy eater. The staff even made him a personalised breakfast and tried to accommodate all our needs. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and I was really pleasantly impressed. The traditional Au desert was another highlight, especially the cheesecake, and the price was very reasonable too. Very grateful, and hopefully we'll come back in the summer!

The restaurant portions are generous, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly. This charming hotel sits in a peaceful lakeside setting, with comfortable rooms and beautiful views. It's a bit secluded, but that makes it a good fit for a relaxing getaway if you're after tranquility and natural beauty.
