The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The family-run hotel has an especially friendly staff, and the owners also cook. The menu offers a great variety of genuine Swiss cuisine. Just keep in mind that the restaurant is closed on Saturday nights, so make other plans for dinner then.

It was my first time in Switzerland, and the staff were so kind and helpful, especially since I only speak English. The food was fantastic. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Hotel Krone’s restaurant is run by the family that owns the hotel. I tried the local traditional food: pumpkin soup, truffle mushrooms, and liver from a small cow cooked with herbs. It was all delicious. The chef is the owner, who picks all the products himself.

We always enjoy dinner here, with very nice wines. It’s well worth taking the highway exit and driving into Wangen an der Aare.
