Boutique Hotel Albana Real - Restaurants & Spa

The room was a little smaller than I’d expected, though I can’t really compare it with room sizes at other hotels. Breakfast was good, the spa was nice and quiet during my visit, and the staff were all helpful. The service was excellent.

We had a really good stay here with my boyfriend. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view was lovely. At reception, the staff were kind and helpful as soon as we arrived, and gave us useful local tips. We enjoyed trying the spa and having dinner at the hotel restaurants. Breakfast was good too, with lots of options and omelets cooked on the spot. Everything is within walking distance. I’d definitely come back.

The location was A+++ for ski access and the train station, and the hotel’s restaurants were easy to reach from inside. We tried the authentic Thai food and felt it was worth every penny. The food and servers were spectacular, especially Sebastian, who looked after our meal. From reception and housekeeping to the facilities, comfort and accessibility, everything was faultless. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this four-star hotel for a great time in Zermatt.

Boutique Hotel Albana Real is lovely and well located. The front desk staff welcomed us, and housekeeping made up the sofa bed neatly, so the room worked well for three people. We had a pleasant stay apart from one uncomfortable moment at breakfast. It was snowing, and even though we wiped our shoes at the entrance, some snow melted onto the floor. We had already apologized when a staff member came back to our table to comment that it was dirty. Later, he asked where we were from. When we said “China,” his reaction made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. It was one isolated incident, but it affected our meal. More sensitivity and professionalism in guest interactions would improve the experience.
