Hotel Crusch Alba Swiss Lodge Zernez

A cozy, very nice place to stay, with friendly staff. Having a fire and hot spiced wine every night is just my kind of thing. The restaurant is quite upscale, so expect to pay a fair bit, though the food is delicious. Dinner for my wife and me was €150.

The staff were lovely, the food superb and breakfast really good. It’s a lovely, friendly place with very nice rooms. We had a great time and will be back!

We stopped for one night at Hotel Crusch Alba on our way to St Moritz because our accommodation there wasn’t available for Saturday night. It worked out to be a great place to stay. We were in the recently converted hotel building, with rooms beautifully built from aged timber and granite, a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Parking on site was easy. At 5pm the hotel offered complimentary mulled wine, and dinner at their restaurant was delicious: barley soup, salmon and red-wine venison. Breakfast was included, with a cold buffet and hot food cooked to order. The staff’s customer service and helpfulness were excellent, especially given that we couldn’t speak German. Highly recommend.

Breakfast is included and was superb, with everything freshly cooked from locally sourced food. The other dishes were just as strikingly presented as they were delicious, with the taste even better than the photos suggested. From the moment I walked into the hotel, the wood-and-stone design impressed me with its rustic charm and unusual beauty. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure guests felt welcome and looked after. For a three-star place, the food was extraordinary. The rooms were stunning too, and the whole experience was well above other similarly priced hotels I know. It left a lasting impression, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for a unique, memorable stay.
