Hotel City Zürich Design & Lifestyle

The location was fantastic, and we could walk to many of the sights on our list. We walked from the train station to the hotel, and it's only a short ride to the airport. The rooms are small but adequate and very clean. Staff were friendly and the service was excellent.

Honestly, 10/10. We needed to stay near the train station while still being close enough to explore the city. Check-in was easy, housekeeping was great, and the rooms were super nice with comfortable beds. The price was perfect for the stay. Thank you, thank you.

The rooms were modern, cozy, and clean, and the staff made us feel welcome with their helpful, polite service. We spent three nights here, and the location made getting around easy, close to Zurich HB and the city center. The price felt in line with Zurich. I’d stay again on a future visit.

The biggest problem was the room itself. The air-conditioning barely seemed to work, there was no way to choose the temperature or switch to heat, and I ended up opening the windows to get some air. Then I went to make coffee and found the machine covered in what looked like years of grime. I left it alone after that, and it made me wonder how well the rest of the room had been cleaned. When I mentioned it at checkout, the manager apologized and offered me a free coffee from the restaurant. The rooms are decent, though they could be better. This is a boutique-style hotel with different themes depending on the room you pick. It’s also very expensive, though that may be the city-center location. You can walk to the main station in about five minutes, and there’s a Migros supermarket with plenty of food options right across the street.
