The only drawback was that guests couldn’t bring their own alcohol into the common area, where there’s a small bar. Otherwise, we had a great experience. A fourth friend joined us late, so we needed separate bookings, and the staff made the switch easy by letting us keep our first room. They were very friendly, the room was a good size, and the hotel is well placed for the train station. Great price for the Zürich area.

There’s a fully equipped guest kitchen, plus a place to sit and eat food you’ve prepared or picked up. We had a great time and I recommend it. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood rather than the center, but public transport gets you downtown in about ten minutes. Rooms are simple but have what you need, and we could request a baby bed. It’s easy to get around with a stroller, there’s an elevator, and the breakfast is the same each morning, though that’s manageable. They also have a high chair for babies. Good value for the money.

The common area downstairs was useful, with a full kitchen, fridge, dining tables, and even a foosball table. Reception staff were helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay and would return. The room was clean but a bit cramped for three people to move around freely. The beds were okay, and the large bathroom had everything we needed. Breakfast wasn’t good: little choice and expensive, even by Swiss standards. Parking cost a lot, though the garage was safe and clean. Housekeeping had to be requested, as we’d been told beforehand. We only wanted towels, but they cleaned the whole room. The train is about a ten-minute walk away, two grocery stores are seven minutes on foot, and Lidl is a five-minute drive.

The staff were very polite, and the quiet area suited us. We came as a family with three young children during New Year week. The hotel was close to the train station, grocery stores, and coffee shops, with the basic facilities we wanted and entertainment available for the kids. The room worked for our needs: affordable and near the center.
