Renaissance Zürich Tower Hotel

Just checked in at the Renaissance Zürich Tower Hotel today as a Marriott Bonvoy member, and it’s already off to a great start. They upgraded me straight to an Executive Suite, which was a very nice surprise. It’s spacious, clean and has an awesome view. I also have club lounge access, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus what’s basically free drinks all day. I definitely made the most of that 😅. The staff have been friendly and welcoming so far, and public transport is really easy to reach. Looking forward to the rest of my stay. Paul

Panagiotis went out of his way at the front desk to help me with the TV in my room. Lea made a special effort in the lounge to arrange vegetarian food and nonalcoholic drinks for me. They were the two most helpful people at the hotel, and deserve all the kudos.

Mr. Panagiotis was the standout for me. He was attentive, caring and remarkably helpful, going out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. His service made all the difference, and I’ll honestly come back just for him. Everything else was great too, from the warm welcome to the professional service and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Sarah and Viktoria made getting around Zurich much easier for us. Since we didn’t know the city and had little time, we asked the front desk for help. They showed us on maps how to catch the tram/train at a stop about 100 steps away, ride roughly five stops downtown, and find the areas worth walking around. Sarah even helped us buy tickets in the lobby, which was easy, convenient and economical. She also explained our ticket would work for the trip to the central station, where we’d later take the SBB train from Zurich to Basel. It all worked perfectly, and Sarah’s help is probably the reason we ventured out at all. We stayed at the Marriott Renaissance Zurich in mid-April, when the weather was glorious. Check-in was efficient and the room was more than adequate and very clean. Our Marriott Bonvoy status gave us access to the Executive Lounge, where the drinks were good and the food was surprisingly great. My wife and I both enjoyed the salmon. Kudos to the chef and staff. Ana, our hostess, made the lounge especially enjoyable. She was engaging, clearly enjoyed her work, and we heard her speaking with guests in several languages. We enjoyed chatting with her about wine. She was a joy and a great ambassador for the Renaissance and Marriott brands. The buffet breakfast was one of the largest and most varied we’ve seen, with lots of choices and fresh baked goods. Bravo to the restaurant team. Between the hotel, chefs and staff, especially Ana, Sarah and Viktoria, we had a great first visit, even though it was short.
