Residence Appartements

This is a very strange apartment option: there’s a kitchen, but no free access to kitchen equipment. In fact, it was completely empty, without even a cup or kettle. The stove doesn’t work, despite what you might expect, and there wasn’t even a hair dryer for sushi. All you get is a bed, one key for everyone, and tap water. It’s a very budget place. We bought food planning to cook, then found out we couldn’t use the stove. That was disappointing. I don’t recommend it.

Clean and elegant inside, and the place exceeded what I expected.

Getting around was easy, with public transport just a short walk away. The room had a lovely balcony and a kitchen available for an extra charge. The bed was comfortable, and management had arranged a code box for my late arrival and a late checkout 😊.

This was the worst apartment I’ve stayed in. The rooms aren’t soundproof, so loud neighbors can be really disruptive. They also provide just one key card, which means everyone else is left without electricity if the person carrying it goes out. A second card costs 100CHF. Almost everything extra comes with another charge: parking is 29CHF per night, kitchen equipment is 20CHF per day, and each additional hour for checkout costs 15CHF. Standard check-in is at 3pm and checkout at 11am. For all that money, the place is lacking basic facilities. I’ve stayed in several hotels in Sri Lanka that at least had a kettle and cups for making tea. Very disappointing.
